TV Writers Settle Age Discrimination Suit

Hollywood entertainment firms have agreed to settle an age discrimination lawsuit brought by 165 television writers over the age of 40. The $70 million settlement is the largest of its kind.
The named defendants include television networks ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC, and several high-profile production companies and talent agencies.
